Aha! Another case of variant texts.  I have a tape of a folk singer,
Michael Cooney (sp?), singing the 3-minute *Hamlet* on Garrison
Keillor's old "Prairie Home Companion" show back in 1989, and if my
memory serves me well, there are substantial differences between that
version and this one.  Of such differences are living art made.

The name of the Scottish i.e. Glaswegian schoolteacher is Adam McNaughton.
I'm afraid that I don't have any information on the album that the song is
taken from.
