SHAKSPER 1992: Q: Computer Programs
From: Hardy M. Cook (hmcook@boe00.minc.umd.edu) Date: 11/30/92
Shakespeare Electronic Conference, Vol. 3, No. 343. Monday, 30 November 1992. From: Balz Engler <engler@urz.unibas.ch> Date: Monday, 30 Nov 1992 00:41:05 +0100 Subject: Computer Programs Now that we have many of the Shakespeare first editions as machine-readable texts, does anybody know of a good program that helps us to compare them in the way an editor would do this? One that produces a list of variants automatically, for example? I am sure there are such programs (TUSTEP in German among others), but I should like to have the advice of somebody who has actually worked with them--if they exist at all . . .
