Subject: English Renaissance Course Outlines
I would like to get a sampling of course outlines for an undergraduate English
Renaissance literature survey. Primary and secondary texts, possible
assignments, critical approaches, currently available textbooks, happy and
hearty pedagogies . . . I never took such a course as an undergraduate, and I
only taught non-dramatic literature but once. Now I'm charged with presenting
a course proposal to a curriculum review, and I don't have much of a clue as
to how. The Timon-pathologies of imaginary unlimited fecundity have made it
hard for me to ask for help, but I'd be much relieved and ever grateful for
suggestions.
