There were a lot of good moments in that episode.  One of my favorite lines
was Bruce Willis' "Zounds!  What mounds!"  He was referring, of course, to
Cybil Shepherd's cleavage.  Another of my favorite moments was the wedding
night, when the usual office set-up was reproduced in the groom's house.
In place of the dialogue in Act III, Shepherd and Willis did a Tom-and-Jerry
sort of act, complete with exploding cigar.  Kate got the best of that one.
 
I think one of the main points of departure (apart from all the horseplay
typical of Moonlighting) was making the turning point (the moon-sun scene--
Act IV Sc. i, I think) a public one.  Petrucchio, not Kate, admits defeat, and
does so before the guests at the banquet.
 
By the way, another of my favorite moments was the wedding ceremony itself:
the bound and gagged Kate was predictable, but the innovative part was the
bridegroom, choir, and congregation all dancing to strains of "Do love".
 
Unfortunately, I don't have a copy either.  I've tried, faithfully every
Valentine's day for the last three years, to tape the episode.  But Lifetime
is usually very sneaky about when it shows those re-runs.
 
I think the Moonlighting episode is worth considering seriously, given the
relationship between the two main characters outside of that episode.  For
me, Willis and Shepherd made a very good Petrucchio and Kate.
