SHAKSPER 1992: *Prospero's Books*
From: Ken Steele (ksteele@epas.utoronto.ca) Date: 04/05/92
Shakespeare Electronic Conference, Vol. 3, No. 78. Sunday, 5 Apr 1992. Date: Tue, 31 Mar 1992 06:31:00 -0500 From: GEOFF WALL <GW2@VAXB.YORK.AC.UK> Subject: Prospero's Books After watching Peter Greenaway's film version of The Tempest, I'd like to compare notes with anyone interested. This is sumptuous stagnant erudite phantasy, spun out between the lines of The Tempest. Memorable visual splendours and ingenuities, but a lack of subtlety and dramatic detail.
