There's a HyperCard stack (Mac only) called "Shakespeare's Life and Times,"
from Intellimation, P.O. Box 1922, Santa Barbara, CA 93116-1922,
805-968-2291. The stack contains enormous amounts of graphic material:
title pages, etchings, reproductions of paintings and photographs. The
stack covers eight disks and requires a hard disk for proper operation.
While there is a copyright notice on the graphics, it might be possible to
work out an arrangement with the company, and also an arrangement with a
friendly Mac person to cut and paste the desired graphics into an
IBM-compatible format.

The stack itself, by the way, is an interesting survey of the life and
times. It's easy to start exploring one issue and end up down some distant
path in a completely different topic -- by choice, not by accident. It
encourages browsing and grazing, which is one of the points of hypertext.

In line with Ken Steele's call for texts, I should be interested in
hearing from anyone interested in editing/entering Robert Greene's texts,
as part of a team working on a collected edition to be published by
Edwin Mellen Press.
