Subject: Shakespeare's Will

If anyone can put forth a reasonable theory for the question of why
Shakespeare, in his will, left only the second best bed to his wife, it would
be much appreciated. I am doing research for a paper on the importance of women
in the Elizabethan family, and would like to use this as an example, but
unfortunately I can't find a reasonable answer. ANY theories will be welcomed!
Even silly ones at this point!!!!
